In this episode, we will talk with Michael Collemiche about the adoption of data, analytics, and artificial intelligence in business verticals that traditionally are not technology-focused and why a cross-capability evolution is needed within organizations to develop competitive advantages based on AI. In addition, Michael shares his opinion from the perspective of the importance of having flexible data and AI-driven management teams that adapt to market needs and new technologies that transform organizational cultures.

Michael is currently the Chief Revenue Officer at Algorithia, a Mexican company that aims to help businesses generate value with the power of data. In addition, Michael is the VP & Founder of CDO LATAM, an organization that brings together data leaders in organizations to create a networking space and share their experiences in making their companies data-driven. He is also a mentor for the “Data Science for Business” program at the University of Engineering and Technology in Peru.

Before his current roles, Michael worked as Director of Data & Analytics at Belcorp in Peru, Banco Santander in Mexico, Director of Customer Insights and BigData at AT&T, among other positions focused on driving customer and consumer strategies from marketing, with the use of advanced analytics and AI model development. Additionally, he was a professor at the Universidad del Pacifico in Lima, Peru, for the Specialization Program in Information Management: Analytics and Intelligence for Business.

Michael is an economist and holds an MBA focused on digital transformation from the Ecole d’Ingénieurs en Informatique (School of Computer Engineers), as well as an Analytics Edge certification from MIT.
