Favio is currently a Data Scientist and Solution Engineer at H2O.ai, an international company that seeks to drive the adoption of artificial intelligence in organizations through an end-to-end platform of AI solutions. In addition, Favio is currently CEO and Chief Data Scientist at Closter and a professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
Before his current positions, Favio developed his career as a Data Scientist in companies such as Iron AI, Raken Data Group, Oxxo, BBVA, mood, among others. In addition, he has a great career as an evangelizer of artificial intelligence, in fact he was recognized as one of the top 100 leaders in education by the GFEL in 2021, and he has been a professor of Data Science areas at EMERITUS, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Afi escuela Finance, Business Science University (Pennsylvania), among others.
Favio has a Masters Degree in physics with an emphasis in Cosmology and Data Science applied to Cosmology and is also a computer engineer and physicist from the universities of Rafael Urdaneta and Zulia, respectively. In this episode we will talk about the development of analytical capabilities in organizations and the difference between developing these capabilities in-house or, on the contrary, adapting outsourced solutions from the market. In addition, Favio shares his opinion and expectations about AI-driven organizations from his experience in the industry and academia.
